100 Mile House Wranglers defenceman Kole Duquette is the final Young Guns selection of the KIJHL regular season after he scored two goals in one game.
The Okotoks Oilers U18AAA alum scored twice, including the winner, in their 6-1 victory over the Chase Heat. When it came to his performance, the Black Diamond, Alta., native said he played a simple game.
“When I had my opportunity I capitalized,” said Duquette. “I was able to jump into the play at the right time.”
Duquette finished the season with seven goals and 28 points in 43 games, which was second among Wranglers defencemen in points.
