Wranglers announce Levi Stuart as new head coach-GM

Levi Stuart is the new head coach-GM of the 100 Mile House Wranglers, the organization announced today.

The Merritt, B.C. native joins the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League club from the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League’s Nipawin Hawks, where he was an assistant coach for the last two seasons. During that time, the Hawks had 48 wins, 53 losses, six overtime losses and five shootout losses in 112 regular season games.

Stuart’s resume includes being a video coach for the WHL’s Vancouver Giants as well as the BCHL’s Vernon Vipers. He spent three seasons on the Merritt Centennials’ coaching staff.

In their announcement on social media, the Wranglers said that Stuart is looking forward to his position and joining the community. He will be coaching at the Wranglers’ Prince George camp April 12-14.
